Site Safety
Marine lifting and hardstand operations involve significant risk. Everyone at the facility is expected to follow site procedures and the directions of North Coast Shiplift personnel.
Requirements
While You're On Site
- Report to the North Coast Shiplift team on arrival.
- Follow all directions from facility personnel at all times.
- Never enter an exclusion zone or approach a vessel while it is being lifted or moved.
- Wear personal protective equipment appropriate to the work being carried out.
- Keep clear of the travel lift, its path and its runway during operations.
- Report incidents, near misses and hazards to facility personnel immediately.
- Contractors must satisfy site, safety, insurance and induction requirements before commencing work.
